Practical support for busy, growing businesses.
Milton Keynes and north Buckinghamshire are home to some of the busiest distribution and logistics sites in the country, alongside fast-growing housing developments, engineering firms and a big office and technology sector. Each brings its own risks, from forklifts and racking to working at height and home-based staff.
We help employers across the area meet their legal duties without the cost of a full-time health and safety manager. That might be a warehouse in Milton Keynes that needs its workplace transport and racking arrangements reviewed, a contractor in Aylesbury who needs RAMS a principal contractor will accept, or an office in Buckingham that wants a sensible policy and fire risk assessment.
You get a named, chartered consultant who visits your site, writes documents that fit how you actually work and is on the end of the phone between visits. For larger projects we bring in trusted specialist associates. Not sure where to start? Book a free review or try our 5-minute self-check.

Do you cover Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire?
Yes. We regularly work in Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Buckingham, Winslow and Aylesbury, and across north Buckinghamshire. We’re based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, so most sites are within about 30 to 40 minutes. We also cover Oxford and Oxfordshire, and rail projects UK-wide.
What does a competent person do for my business?
Every employer must appoint one or more competent people to help them meet their health and safety duties. In practice, that means someone who can identify the risks in your business, advise you on sensible controls, keep your policy and risk assessments up to date, and help if something goes wrong. We can take on that role as your external competent person, so you don’t need to employ someone full time.
We run a warehouse. What should we be focusing on?
For most warehouses the biggest risks are workplace transport (forklifts, HGVs and pedestrians sharing space), storage racking, manual handling, and work at height. Lift trucks need thorough examination under LOLER and regular checks, and HSE guidance is that racking should be inspected by a technically competent person at least every 12 months, with more frequent in-house checks. We can review your site and give you a clear, prioritised action plan.
Do small building projects need CDM 2015?
Yes. CDM 2015 applies to all construction work, whatever the size, and places duties on clients as well as contractors. Larger projects must also be notified to HSE on an F10 if they will last more than 30 working days with more than 20 workers on site at the same time, or exceed 500 person days. We help clients and contractors understand their duties and put the right documents in place.
Can you help after an accident or an HSE visit?
Yes. We can help you decide whether an incident must be reported under RIDDOR, investigate what happened, and put sensible changes in place. If HSE or the local authority has visited, we can help you respond to any advice or notices and show that you have taken action.
How much does it cost?
Every site is different, so we agree a fixed price with you in writing before any work starts. Ongoing support is on a monthly partnership agreement, so the cost is predictable. The first conversation is free: book a free review or send an enquiry below.
